Just a fresh week off of vacationing in Mexico we headed to Las Vegas. One of the perks I have through work is every two years I get offered a week in a company vacation home. One of my favorites is a condo in Las Vegas because it is super close and convenient for Californians. We spent a few good days just enjoying the food, gambling and general people watching. Some of our friends also joined us for a pool day at the MGM Grand.
One of the highlights of our trip is we got to see one of our favorite bands “The Killers” perform live as part of a new tour. Something that made it extra special is that this band is from Las Vegas! There is a saying that musicians go to Las Vegas to die (end of a career). It was kind of cool to see that this band was very much alive and innovating! They played all my favorite songs and a few I had never heard before.
