One of our family friends suggested that we spend a weekend visiting Seattle, Washington. Thanks to my business travel, I have flown through SEA many times; however, I have never really spent any time in this famous city. I was really excited to finally have some dedicated time to explore.
We started with some breakfast at Biscuit B#$%&. While I am often skeptical of places (the local favorite) that have more than an hour’s wait, this one turned out to be pretty nice.
Next, we headed to the Pikes Place Market area to do some shopping. This area was such a treat to explore. From arts and crafts to fresh produce, there was something for everyone to enjoy in this area. A few of my favorite finds included the coin shops, a comic book shop, and the ghost alley coffee shop. There was also an alley full of Gum stuck to the walls.
We finished our day hanging out at the Piers. The aquarium, shops, restaurants, and a harbor tour were the activities explored. Like other cities (Examples: Dublin, London), I had purchased a Tourist Pass for this trip. The aquarium was an average experience for me in comparison to some of the ones I have seen in Japan, Atlanta, and Sydney.
I loved the Harbor Cruise. While the weather started to cloud over for the Habor Tour, it was a beautiful day near the water nonetheless.
