Our first time staying at the Bellagio Resort…
This year, knowing we were planning a few trips to Vegas, I decided to apply for the MLife Rewards Credit Card. The theme for the year would be to stay at MGM properties and I wanted to maximize my savings and earnings. We’ve wanted to stay at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino for some time. It is usually one of the more expensive properties on the strip, but the new MLife membership opened up a few nice sale prices mid-week.
Vegas is still generally on pandemic lockdown (masks, limited shows/attractions, limited dining) but is starting to show signs of finally opening up. The strip is still frighteningly empty. We spent some time exploring the Bellagio. The atrium had a nice “Year of the Ox” display. The casio floor was still pretty empty.
Our room was facing the fountain and gave some neat sunrise and nighttime viewing angles.
We also visited some of the other displays such as the LOVE fountain (Year of the Ox Theme) at The Venitian.
We also paid a visit to Area 15 and got a preview of the Omega Mart (art installation). This art installation requires an extra ticket/reservation, so we will visit it on another trip.
